Ashley Williams, LPC
Ashley Williams, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who graduated from Post University with a Master’s degree in Human Services and Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling. Her professional work experience with clients includes individuals from all backgrounds, cultures, and age groups from 8 years old to adults.
Ashley has experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & depression. Ashley enjoys working with all populations and takes a special interest in working with males, assisting them in acknowledging their emotions and effective ways to handle them. Ashley also takes a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, as she is a certified trauma professional. Ashley also works with individuals experiencing grief, guilt and shame, substance abuse (past or present), relationship concerns, stress, ADHD, and childhood trauma. She works with clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Ashley believes that the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and she is here to support clients in that process.
As a therapist, Ashley practices empathy and compassion. She provides validation of the client’s thoughts, emotions, actions, and experiences. Ashley feels anyone can make changes in their life.
