Belinda Lovell, APRN
Belinda Lovell, APRN, is a Board Certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who graduated from Hunter College with a Master’s of Science in Nursing. Prior to pursuing her studies in psychiatric nursing, Belinda developed a strong base knowledge of pharmacology with a background working as a pharmacy technician for many years.
Throughout her nursing career, she has provided care to diverse populations from adolescents to geriatrics, particularly in underserved areas, and specializes in treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Belinda currently specializes in the treatment of adolescents (12 and older), adults, and geriatric patients.
Through her clinical experiences, Belinda has had great opportunity to work in various healthcare settings including inpatient, outpatient, supportive housing, home care, emergency acute care and partial hospitalization programs.
She enjoys providing a holistic care approach that utilizes multimodal therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, that are developmentally and culturally appropriate to the clients she treats. She truly believes in individualizing treatment tailored to the needs and lifestyles of her clients. Belinda is patient, kind, and thorough. She believes in holistic, well rounded care including the care of clients’ physical health, in order for clients to obtain their mental health goals and overall well being.
