Sara Migneault, APRN

Sara Migneault, APRN, is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Sara has worked within the field of nursing for 18 years, with a variety of experience in patient care including the NICU, med-surg departments within the hospital, school nursing for children and teens, as well as at-home care. Sara is skilled in treating acute and chronic conditions. She enjoys engaging with her patients to treat all of their healthcare needs, from chronic conditions including thyroid disorders, anxiety and depression, mood disorders, postpartum anxiety and depression, to acute situations such as migraines, UTI’s, infections, and women’s health concerns.

When evaluating a patient’s mental health needs, Sara believes it’s important to evaluate a person’s whole health history, including possible vitamin deficiencies, genetic predispositions, life changes and life stressors, and medical changes such as thyroid disorders or hormonal imbalances. Sara uses a calm, relaxed approach when speaking with her patients, and notes the importance of really listening to the patient’s own words to understand their concerns and treat them effectively. Sara’s goal is for her patients to feel comfortable and to feel they are included in creating their optimal plan of care.

Sara believes it is important to not only listen to her patients, but to advocate for them to have quality, tailored care, including coordination with other providers in therapy, nutrition, or alternative medicine, if the patient wishes, for inclusive, thorough wrap around care to support the client to reach their optimal health goals.
