Annie is grounded in an ecological perspective, seeking to understand her client’s life in the context of each respective environment (e.g. home, school, work, community). Her approach is client-centered, compassionate, and strengths-based. She helps her clients to identify and tap into resources (both inner strengths and outer social supports) to leverage change, increase self-confidence, and rise up to meet their goals. She honors cultural sensitivity in her practice, recognizing and respecting differences and how our cultural values and beliefs shape our worldview.

Annie believes whatever challenge one is facing, there is help and potential for healing. She is aware that some people may feel uncertain about the therapeutic process, and she is here to offer support, reassurance and clarity. She has an open, caring, and nonjudgmental style of communicating, and looks forward to the opportunity to work with you.
