Sharon Farah, APRN
Sharon Farah, APRN, graduated from the University Of Connecticut with a bachelor’s of Science and a master’s degree from Pace University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a Nurse Practitioner in Family Health, her scope of practice is to assess and collaboratively manage the complete healthcare needs of her clients across their lifespan. Sharon is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center with over 8 year’s experience as an FNP. She is skilled in treating acute and chronic conditions. Most of her time as an FNP has been spent in urgent care settings which have allowed her to treat many complex viral, bacterial and chronic medical conditions, in addition to psychiatric and mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression, and women’s health concerns.
Sharon recognizes the importance of more than just physical health and believes in integrating all dimensions of wellness to establish healthy habits and balance in one’s life. She believes that a good provider gets to know her patient’s personalities, preferences, health goals and current medical knowledge in order to customize care. As a primary care provider, she acts as your principal point of consultation within a health care system and coordinates with other specialists that you may need. She feels it is important to be a good listener, an advocate and to value the patient as a person. She truly loves to help people feel better and achieve their health goals. Sharon takes the time to listen to her patients and conveys genuine interest and concern for them.
Sharon provides tele-health visits for patients across the State of Connecticut, appointments in our Southbury office, and concierge home visits for individuals in Fairfield County.
