Stephanie graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals of all ages.
Stephanie is certified in Gestalt therapy, and works with trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship and family conflict. In particular, Stephanie works with individuals who are experiencing stress in their lives, including life transitions, and students and adults who are experiencing anxiety due to perfectionism or high expectations of themselves. She has a talent for helping individuals to reduce the stress in their lives, as well as helping them to cope with the unpleasant symptoms of feeling overworked, stressed, and overwhelmed. Stephanie can help you if you are feeling stuck or “trapped” within your current circumstance or symptoms, while providing a supportive listening ear and practical solutions.
Stephanie is warm and empathetic. She uses a humanistic approach, and works in collaboration with the client by using mindfulness strategies, somatic experiencing, and person-centered therapy to get to the heart of a person’s struggles and help them realize their full potential.
