Tannia Salazar, APRN

Tannia Salazar, APRN, graduated from the University of Texas Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree from Quinnipiac University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Tannia is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center with over 2 years’ experience as an FNP and over 6 years’ experience as a nurse in an acute care setting. Her nursing experience includes medical-surgical and emergency medicine. She has worked as an FNP in trauma and emergency surgery since graduating in 2021. She is passionate about working with the underserved and has dedicated her nursing career to help the most vulnerable populations.

Her experience allows her to treat acute and chronic medical conditions as well as mental health and psychiatric conditions. She believes in a holistic approach to medicine through treating the body, mind, and spirit to provide comprehensive and individualized care. She is a strong advocate of health promotion, interdisciplinary care, providing education and health literacy. She works closely with her patients to help them achieve their health goals with empathy and compassion.
