Daniella Alves, PMHNP-BC
Daniella Alves, APRN, is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in mental health care across the lifespan. She earned her Master's of Science in Nursing degree from Western Connecticut State University in 2024, where she developed a strong foundation in psychiatric nursing with a particular focus on pediatric and adolescent populations. Daniella's nursing background spans medical-surgical, psychiatric, and step-down care, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of both physical and mental health needs.
Daniella provides evaluations and medication management for the entire lifespan, including young children, through adults, with various behavioral health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, postpartum and perinatal mental health, stress, adjustment to life changes, trauma, OCD, insomnia, grief and self esteem. She strives to understand the person as a whole and believes working together to develop tailored strategies is essential. Her goal is to create an individualized plan of care that values client and family involvement, collaboration, and evidenced-based practice. Danielle has a calm, understanding presence and prides herself on truly listening to her patients to help discover ways to support their well-being and healing.
