Leshawna Murrell, APRN, PMHNP, is a Psychiatric MentalHealth Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Elmira College with a bachelor of science in Nursing, and Walden University with a Master’s degree of science inPsychiatric Mental Health Nursing.. Leshawna is double board certified as aNurse Practitioner in Family Medicine and Psychiatric Mental Health.

Leshawna is a passionate and dedicated Psychiatric MentalHealth Nurse Practitioner, driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health concerns. With a compassionate heart and unwavering commitment, she strives to provide comprehensive and holistic care to her patients, empowering them to overcome their challenges and achieve optimal mental well-being.

Leshawna’s journey in this field has been fueled by a genuine belief in the power of healing and the resilience of the human spirit. Through years of education, training, and experience, she has developed a unique skill set that allows her to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, OCD, grief, extreme stress, trauma, andPTSD. Leshawna works with individuals across the lifespan, including patients10+ in our Southbury office as well as via telehealth.

Every day, Leshawna is inspired by the strength and courage displayed by her patients as they navigate their personal journeys towards recovery. It is her honor to walk alongside them, offering guidance, support, and evidence-based interventions to help them reclaim their lives and find hope in the darkest of times.
