Maria Funk Segulijic, LPCA

Maria Funk Seguljic, LPCA, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph.

Maria works with individuals across the lifespan, with a strong focus on children and adolescents. She supports clients experiencing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. Maria utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.

Maria also incorporates art and expressive therapies into her work, allowing clients—especially younger individuals—to explore and communicate their thoughts and emotions in creative and meaningful ways.

Maria is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. She believes therapy is a space for individuals to explore their experiences openly—even when they are difficult—and to build insight, coping skills, and self-understanding at their own pace. She works collaboratively with clients to support them through both the challenges and growth that come with the therapeutic process.
