Nicole Reichenbach, LMFTA

Nicole E. Reichenbach, LMFTA, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who received a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University. She also graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychological Science. Nicole has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, parents, and families. She enjoys working with individuals within these groups and those seeking support for various mental health challenges. In particular, Nicole works with issues such as ADHD, depression, trauma-related disorders, anxiety, and family dynamics.

Nicole believes each individual and family has their own strengths and capabilities that are essential for achieving their goals. She emphasizes these strengths by listening to each person’s unique experience and encouraging multiple viewpoints in the therapeutic process. Nicole enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, providing support to children and their parents to foster stronger family connections with open, warm communication, and understanding. Nicole aims to create an open, accepting, and compassionate atmosphere for all clients. She believes in utilizing a balance of allowing humor and playfulness when appropriate, as well as inviting vulnerable and difficult conversations into the therapy room. When working with parents and children, Nicole emphasizes empowering each parent while maintaining a safe and sometimes playful environment for children to feel comfortable.

Outside of her professional life, Nicole enjoys kayaking, swimming, spending time with friends, and playing Pokémon Go. She brings the same enthusiasm and dedication to her hobbies as she does to her work, always striving to connect with others and find joy in the moment.
